How it works

From standoff to signed, in four steps

No filings, no waiting rooms, no billable hours. You move at your own pace, and Elerion keeps things calm and fair.

  1. 1

    Tell your side

Start privately. Describe the dispute and what a fair outcome looks like to you — in your own words, with no pressure.

  2. 2

    Invite the other side

Elerion sends a calm, neutral invitation. The other party joins their own account and tells their side too.

  3. 3

    Mediate together and in private

You talk in a joint conversation, plus a confidential private room, called a caucus. Elerion carries offers between you.

  4. 4

    Sign your agreement

When you both agree, Elerion drafts the settlement in plain terms and everyone e-signs. You each get the signed PDF.

The cost of the alternatives

A fair resolution shouldn't cost a fortune

Traditional paths to resolving a dispute are slow and expensive. Elerion is a flat $9 per dispute — an introductory early-adopter rate.

Why mediation works

A better way through a hard situation

Court is adversarial, public, and slow. Mediation is designed to get you both to an outcome you can live with.

Faster

Reach an agreement in days, not the months or years a court case can drag on.

Cheaper

A small fraction of what you'd spend on lawyers or a courtroom fight.

Private

Your dispute stays between you — there's no public court record.

You control the outcome

No judge imposes a verdict on you. You and the other side decide the terms together.

Preserves the relationship

Better for co-parents, partners, and neighbors who still have to deal with each other afterward.

Works from anywhere

Fully online. No travel, no scheduling around a courthouse — just you, on your own time.

Fair and safe by design

Neutrality and safety, built in

A mediator only works if you can trust it. Elerion's safeguards aren't an afterthought — they're how it's built.

A confidentiality firewall

Each side has a private room, called a caucus. What you share privately stays private unless you choose to put it on the table.

Even-handed neutrality

Elerion never takes a side. Staying even-handed and avoiding legal advice is fenced in by design, so it treats both parties the same.

Screens for coercion and abuse

Elerion watches for pressure and domestic abuse, and connects you to human help — including the U.S. National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

A human is a step away

When a situation calls for it, Elerion can escalate to a human. You're never stuck talking only to software.
Where we draw the line
Elerion will refuse to draft an agreement that shouldn't be signed. A separate drafting engine won't write illegal or coercive terms, and won't invent facts. Financial terms come verbatim from the offer both parties formally accepted — never from the chat.

Bring your attorney — really

Mediation isn't a way around good legal advice

If you have a lawyer, bring them — Elerion works well with represented parties. If you don't, we'll tell you when it's worth getting one. Elerion is a neutral mediator, not a law firm, and it doesn't give legal advice.

What kinds of disputes

Real disputes, resolved fairly

If it's a disagreement two sides need to settle, Elerion can likely help. Here are some of the most common.

What you walk away with

A signed settlement, in writing

When you both agree, Elerion turns your deal into a clear, written settlement agreement — the exact terms you accepted, spelled out in plain language, with both signatures. You each download it as a PDF to keep.

A signed settlement agreement is a contract. Enforceability varies by situation and place, so have a lawyer review it before you sign.

Common questions

Answers before you start

A few of the things people most want to know. There's more in the full FAQ.

Is the agreement binding?
A signed settlement agreement is a contract, and nothing is binding until both parties sign. Enforceability varies by situation and by where you live, so it's wise to have a lawyer review it before you sign.
What if we don't reach a deal?
That's okay — mediation is voluntary and you can walk away at any time. Nothing is binding unless you both agree and sign, so there's no risk in trying.
Is this legal advice?
No. Elerion is a neutral mediator, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. Attorneys are welcome and encouraged, and Elerion will tell you when it's worth getting one.
Who can see what I say privately?
Each side has a private room, called a caucus. What you tell Elerion privately is not shared with the other side unless you allow it.
Can I stop anytime?
Yes. Mediation is always voluntary — you can pause or walk away whenever you like, and nothing is decided until you both choose to sign.
