How the fee works

Straight answers on the $9

Is the fee per dispute or per person?

It is per dispute, not per person. One $9 fee covers the whole mediation for everyone involved — not each side separately.

Can we split the cost?

Yes. You can choose to split the fee with the other side, so each of you pays part of the $9. Because Elerion is neutral, it does not matter who pays.

What if we don’t settle?

Mediation is voluntary, so you can walk away at any time. You keep your history, and you can come back and try again. If mediation isn’t the right fit, you’re free to explore small claims court or talk to a lawyer.

A signed settlement agreement is a contract. Enforceability varies by situation and place — have a lawyer review it before you sign. Attorneys are welcome and encouraged at every step.
